    Letter + doodling

Wrote a letter to my grandparents.
Kind of hard to find enough things to say.
When I read it over again, it seems like every sentence is completely irrelevant to the previous.
It is just a bunch of random topics streamed together.

To make up for this crap letter, I drew tons of pictures and doodles around the edges.
I had almost forgotten how much I love doodling.

And how much fun crayons are to draw with.
Except they really do make huge lines. I had to switch to pen for details.

I really don't mind shopping by myself.
I still have a lot of fun.
And I don't need feel bad when I take a long time in the changing room.

Also there is this bar of chocolate.
I have had it for 2 days but I still have not eaten it.
    Weird.

    Post-reading break

I felt like I didn't have much fun during reading break.
So I went on a shopping spree today.

I spent $30 at La Senza, $21 at Garage, and $40 at Bluenotes.
    I love Bluenotes.
And then I also ate lunch, so I spent $100 in roughly 3 hours.

Which made me feel kind of guilty...

But then when I peek into the shopping bags I feel pretty happy.

It is the natural balance of shopping.

One of the shirts I got says "I *heart*Bags and Boys".
Except the heart is made of those recycling arrows... Like the recycling sign...
So it is kinda like, "I recycle Bags and Boys"...

Mayhaps I will wear the shirt when Farhad is not around...

    Reading Break

Went to Karaoke (K-Mix) yesterday with Erica and broke my 4 hour all-you-can-sing record!
It is now 5 hours (consisting of 2 people).

I mean to take more pictures nowadays, but for some reason it's not happening.
This may be due to the fact that I have a camera with the battery life of a millisecond.
Or, it may be due to the fact that I am lazy and forgetful.

Besides, even the pictures that I HAVE taken seem to find a semi-permanent residence in my camera.
I upload pictures roughly every 5 centuries.

Watched "Push" with my sister on Monday.

Me: "I wanna watch that movie called Push."
Sister: "I haven't heard of it. What's it about?"
Me: "Bunches of supernatural people. Trying to save a girl."
    Sister: "Oh."
Me: "But I wanna see it because that really famous child actress that I like a lot is in there."
    Sister: "Oh."
Me: "She's really famous... Her name is um... something... Fanny?"
Sister: "... Dakota Fanning! FannING! FannING! Not Fanny!"
Me: "Oh... right. Anyway, I really like her."

    Valentine's Day/New Acer

So, Farhad bought me a new laptop and gave it to me on Valentine's Day.
He insists, though, that it is not FOR Valentine's Day, and is rather just around Valentine's Day.
Which might be a valid claim, I suppose, since Valentine's Day was the first day I saw him after I started complaining about my laptop being "sooo screwedd!!!"

So I was secretly pleased because for Valentine's Day, I sketched him a pink rose from a mix of crayon, pencil crayon, pen and felt.
Then he shoves a laptop in front of me.
    Literally.

He also got me some butter cookies that were in shiny silver plastic and a pretty can.
The lid was super hard to open though, and by the time I finally got to the cookies my mouth was filled with saliva.
It reminded me of the shortbread cookies that I really like from Save-On-Foods.

The Acer he bought is a huge 16 inch screen, with twice the hard drive capacity of my old laptop and its own Nvidia video card (because I'm such a gamer girl).
Also my old lappie has 1 GB of RAM and the new one has 4GB, but that is all calculated since the new one is also running Vistaaaaa (*makes face*).
No, Vista is awesome in some ways too, I just thought I shouldn't be too mean since I am still blogging this entry from my old lappie.
