    Mmm.

Went to Richmond Centre and karaoke with Eva and Lysandra.
I hadn't seen either of them for a year.

     We didn't buy any clothes.
     Weird.
I must be subconsciously saving up for the Stitches sale.

PiPi licked a centipede... it hung off her nose.
     I screamed. PiPi ran away.
I trapped the centipede under a plastic cup so my mom could do something about it when she got home.

    Water

Wow, so it turns out that I'm actually pretty serious about my drinking-more-water goal.
I thought it'd pass in a 2 day phase, but I've been doing it for 3 weeks.
1.5 liters of plain, boring water a day.
    It's soo gross.

Anyway, our puppy has gotten bigger and stronger.
    She is semi toilet trained.
She was beginning to look a big shaggy, so I cut her hair today in the backyard.
    She is all cute again.

I like to plug her nostrils.
She tries to ignore it, but after a few seconds she'll pull away and shake around.
    So much fun.

    Movies!

Okay, so "The Other Boleyn Girl" was pretty good while I was watching it, although afterwards it left me slightly depressed.
"Sex and the City" was surprisingly good, so much better than the TV series.
"Kung Fu Panda" is not bad. The idea is original, but the plot is soo cliche.
"Catch and Release" I just turned off halfway through.

Ratatouille is still by far one of the best animated movies in these last few years.

    Erica is right.
It is pretty cold weather for June.
But that's fine with me; I hope it just doesn't get hot at all and goes right into Autumn.
    Summer is horrid.

Life of a non-working yet sophisticated and intelligent woman

Now that I have a bit more spare time on my hands (hahahahahahahahahahahhaaaaa) I've taken to grooming.
    It is quite fun, actually.
I've gotten soooo much better at doing my nails since like, a year ago.
Even though I am still a tad shaky with my left hand.

And I've finished plucking my eyebrows from (a week ago) when I rage quit while half done.

Plus, I even put lotion on now, and not just roughly slapped onto my face.
I try to do it in an upward motion like Nina taught me.
Unfortunately that means I end up with a lot of lotion on my eyelashes and eyelids.
But I must not let these petty annoyances discourage me.
One surely must endure lotioned eyelashes before success.
Plus, it is like practice for mascara.

Anyhoo, one of these days when I can confidently put on eyeliner and mascara without blinding myself, I will surely blog about it.
And expect some sort of a medal.
    And a surprise celebration party.

Now I must go grab a nap before I go shopping.
    Toodles.

    So,

    I love my Guess earrings.
    Really, they are pretty.
Silver hoops with pink gems dangling inside.

They are a tad heavy though.
I'm not really accustomed to wearing big earrings.
In fact, I wear earrings so rarely that sometimes it takes me a while to find my piercings.

    Anyhoo...
I wore them for a night yesterday and today my earlobes feel pretty sore.
I don't know if earlobes are muscles.
Maybe I just need to work them.

I see a lot of girls with perfect eyebrows.
I wonder how often they pluck their eyebrows to keep it nice?

Not that I had much eyebrow to begin with, so I'm not sure how smart it was for me to do anything.
But anyway, I decided that I should experiment.
I mean, I am too much of a wussy to do my eyelashes, so I should at least work on my eyebrows?

It wasn't all that painful anymore once I got used to it.
You can only feel so much before you go numb.

Except I'm really sensitive to touches around my eye (coming from someone who wears contacts????), so my hand was shaking a bit, and I kept pinching my eyelid. Anyway, as I said, once I went numb, it was all good.

So I did one eyebrow and proudly showed Farhad.
I said, "Do you notice anything different about me?"
    "Hmm, did you-"
    "I DID MY EYEBROW!!!"
So he looks at me for a bit and then says, "I can't really tell which one you did."
"This one," I tell him, pointing to my right eye. "Is it pretty?"
"... I see. No, it's probably not worth it."

So I go back and pluck the other eyebrow.
I think I look a bit surprised in one eye, but maybe I'm just imagining it.
Besides, after the bit where I jumped around clutching my eye I didn't feel like working on it anymore.
    Ho hum.

    Celebrities

    Jessica Alba is pregnant?
God, please let her become less attractive so I may feel better about myself.
I mean, it's not even unfair, because if she gets to have a child she has to give up something, right?

I finally saw a pretty picture of Britney Spears at Save On Foods today.
After so many years she finally looks nice again.
Even back then it's wasn't like she could dance, and I didn't like the way she sang (though she has good range) but I'm still glad because it seems like she's getting a break.

Guys like to make fun of sensitive guys that girls like. I have yet to hear a guy admit that Justin Timberlake is fairly good looking, can sing, can dance, and generally portrays a sweet-and-sensitive-guy image. What I have heard is that he is a sissy who sings lame songs.

Lee Hom's nice-boy image is so totally wrong. And he claims he never tried to fake it. Apparently people just assume that about him. I watched an interview of him on "Kang1 Xi1 Lai2 Le", and he definately has a dark side. I don't know, I can't get over it.

    Sidenote:
I so wanna take lessons. Drums, dance, piano, French.
    Except I am too lazy.
And my dentist (well, actually, probably his receptionist) has mailed me a postcard saying that it is time to go in for my cleaning.
    Damn it.

    2008 Richmond Night Market

This year's Richmond Night Market is composed of crap.
    Um... it sucks.
    Half the stalls are empty.
    What a waste of time.

    Windows Live Hotmail

STOP BLOCKING ATTACHMENTS THAT APPEAR UNSAFE!!
     YOU ARE ALWAYS WRONG!
EVERYTHING LOOKS UNSAFE TO YOU, EXCEPT THE THINGS THAT ARE ACTUALLY JUNK!

WHY WOULD YOU BLOCK CONTENT FROM PEOPLE ON MY "FAVORITE CONTACTS"?
AND THEN WARN ME THAT THEY ARE DANGEROUS?

     HOW STUPID ARE YOU???

     WINDOWS LIVE HOTMAIL SUCKS!

    Renegade aftershock

Had a super peaceful (but not boring) day today.

Woke up at 9:00 am, felt really tired (Renegade is SO hard on your eyes) and went back to sleep until 10:00.
Had breakfast and some yummy lemonade.

Then my mom and I washed PiPi, blowdried her and played with her.
Did the dishes, chatted with my mom.

Then we all took a nap together around 1:00 with PiPi sleeping on my stomach.
Unfortunately she gets thrown around a lot while I turn in my sleep.

At 2:00 I wake up and take PiPi back to her room and feed her.
My mom and I eat some mango and she goes off to work (only because she suddenly remembers she has to hand out salaries today).
I try on my new red shoes and decide to keep them.
Then I watch some Taiwanese drama while I remove my nail polish.

Probably going to play some more Renegade later.
    God I suck at it.
